Norma finally gave birth to a single ram, little Ferrari, yesterday evening. So winter lambing has now come to a close. Ferrari was so named because he came out very very fast. A little pushing, a little grunting, and out he flung into a brave new world. Within 10 minutes he was standing on his feet. Within the hour he was nursing. All looks well. So congratulations Norma on another beautiful addition to Bear Valley Farm. For the winter lambs we have six females and seven males.
