Today was bittersweet. We are so happy that our ewe lambs found a wonderful new home in Kirkland, IL. But it was sad to have to say goodbye to some of our most favorite sheep of all. Most of all, our dear little Bloo. She was the bottle baby who stole Farmer Tom's heart. Farmer Tom had to go off to cry a little after it was all over. The good news is that we have an open invitation to come visit our lambs in the future. We will definitely take them up on the offer. I look forward to seeing Bloo all grown up with lambs of her own. Until then, we bid a fond farewell to our dear little sheep. Here are a few pics just minutes before we loaded them up on the truck: Our little Bloo. Isn't she a beautiful sheep? This is Moo, Bloo's sister. Goodbye Moo. This is Little Squirt, Norma's lamb. She really has grown. Goodbye Wilma the Sheep! You're beautiful too. Betsy lost her tag a little while back. But's that's okay, we'll always know who she is. One last munch of hay

It was a beautiful morning Sunday. I realize now that in just a couple of weeks, we'll be saying goodbye to Bloo and the rest of the ewe lambs. I'm already missing them.
