Lavender is in bloom. I love this time of year.  Well, the ewes are in heat and Fabio is showing some serious interest. Looks like we might have Christmas lambs this year.  You want to talk about enthusiasm. The minute I opened the gate to the Southern Exposure paddock the sheep bolted into the field and chowed down hungrily on the new grass. Them sheep love it. 
Yesterday I actually left the farm and enjoyed the day with my dad and brother at the Fly-In in Oshkosh, WI. It is a mandatory annual pilgrimage for all those who love aviation. 
Had a great time at the Wisconsin State Fair today. Broke my diet for one day and enjoyed the following: corn dog, cheese curds, milk, corn on the cob, and cream puff. Speaking of which, here's Sharon with a very large cream puff:
