The hayfield has been growing very nicely during the last few weeks. Yesterday, we turned the ewes back out on it and boy were they happy. They ate and ate and ate. And the weather has been just gorgeous, as you can plainly see:

Today we said goodbye to four of our ewe lambs who were sold to a little farm up in Mayville, WI. We're so glad we found them a good home, but we will also miss them. We'll miss little Suzy's hollaring "baa". We'll miss little Spot's little spot. The trip up north was uneventful. They all took to their new home in stride and started to graze within minutes of their arrival. Have a great life you beautiful sheep. We sure had fun raising you.  |
