All our animals spent the day enjoying the Hayfield. The weather was so nice on Sunday and the whole flock seemed so happy to be out and about. Until later that day when Daryl decided that something was amiss and quickly herded everyone back to the barnyard. Perhaps he noticed a suspicious looking mouse or some other dangerous predator--like a chipmunk.

Anyone who raises sheep knows that they have to go to the Sheep and Wool Festival held annually in Jefferson, WI. So we went last weekend and saw a lot of sheep. We even met one of the breeders we sold some of our ewe lambs to this summer. Happy to report little Bitsy is doing well but still a little small. I miss her. We also purchased a new set of hoof trimmers, had some cheese curds, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Life is good. Here are a few pics:         |
