Today is the day we must separate the rams from the ewes. We plan to breed our sheep in early September, so Fabio and our last two rams (#51 & #52) must be by themselves for the next month and a half. Hopefully we won't have to deal with any separation anxiety. Right now, it's just Farmer Tom who feels bad about having to break up the herd. But he would feel worse if we ended up with November lambs and had to feed them all winter long (which is really expensive). We'll keep you updated on the situation.
