Yesterday we said a fond farewell to Bambi, Bootsy, Buzzy, Tula, Sammy & Toro. We made the delivery to Adair, Iowa, which took us 6 1/2 hours to drive. But it was worth it. Our lambs found a great new home with a caring farmer who raises Suffolk Sheep and wants to introduce Polypays into his herd. The farm is right in the middle of a these massive windmills--what a picturesque new setting for our sheep. I will miss Bambi's faint little "baah" most of all. She was my favorite out of this bunch, as she has, of late, become a very friendly lamb to me.
