Fabio, our ram, has been limping around for far too long. We've been keeping his hoof clean and medicated, but he has not improved. So we called in our vet. He discovered a deep abscess near Fabio's right outer hoof wall. Once opened and treated, Fabio was on his feet in a couple of days. He now seems good as new, which is important, for he will be breeding the ewes in less than a month. Here's a photo of Sharon and Fabio just as Dr. Diecher was giving him a penicillin shot. What a character our ram is.
